Here at The Piano Academy, we stress the importance of teaching the entire musician. This means incorporating good piano keyboard technique along with listening skills, rhythm, relative pitch through singing, consistent practice routines, movement, theory, and history. Emphasis is placed on good habits from the start.
The Piano Academy's group classes are designed to start beginners of any age in a group setting for two years (or four terms). After these important four terms, the student is ready to 'graduate' into private piano lessons. Beginning piano students may opt to take private lessons, but are encouraged to start in a group setting.
